Ar. Archana Dalal is an Architect with specialised interest in Interior designing and Vastu and Landscaping.
She pursued G D Architecture with Landscaping as a major subject from L S Raheja, Mumbai. She gained an insight in this field while pursuing her career at Vikas Date & Associates before starting her independent venture in year 1999. She has a strong foothold and deep technical knowledge in this ever-evolving industry. She with a lot of enthusiasm, keeps learning all the new techniques and technology.
SPACES FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR CITIZENS AND DIFFERENTLY ABLED
With different age groups and different physical requirements, we create a special kind of designs using different elements
For junior citizens study table, chairs, beds and Wardrobes are a bit lower and treated with rounded edges. Bright colour schemes and special room themes according to gender and age of children are created.
For seniors we need to create spaces which are non-slippery and brightly lit. We go above and beyond basic interior designing by providing the apt choice of materials and accessories for senior citizens and physically disabled clients according to suit their convenience. We have until the present time successfully designed specialised Toilet Seats, safer Bathroom Space, Better Floorings, Friendly kitchen to name a few.
Differently ables people may require toilets, beds etc with different specifications. They may need handles or surfaces for movement
And all these things catered well.
USAGE OF ART AS DESIGN ELEMENT
We work in collaboration with different painters, sculptors, regional artists and modern artists to bring uniqueness to your houses & spaces.
These different art forms are used as highlighting features. We encourage to choose from a variety of traditional paintings like madhubani, warli, gond.
We use Murals like Modern, lepaikam, dokra.
We use handwoven/printed fabrics like silks, kalamkari, bharvadi chakda work, kachhi embroidery, macarome.
We co-ordinate with a battery of local, traditional and modern, mix media and mandala artist.
We also have a lot of artists whom we collaborate with and do create murals and frp work for your spaces
PRE LOVED FURNITURE
You may have any preloved or antique furniture which is still in great Shape or requires little maintenance or modification but in usable condition. We definitely try to use it at places
LANDSCAPING
With all the projects there are few spaces are extensions like entrances, facades, balconies and Terraces
We do enough justification designing the same and create a vibrant atmosphere within. Here different types of natural or artificial plants, lawns are taken Different murals, pottery, tiles also are suggested. We collaborate with artists and Co create fountains and landscape around too.
In industrial premises where low maintenance green spaces are required we suggest landscaping accordingly
